Improvisational Calligraphy [Created a piece for a Japanese restaurant 🎨]
📍 Washington, DC, USA 🇺🇸
I was given complete creative freedom!
The inspiration came from my first meeting with the team at the restaurant!!
[Improvisation] This was a thrilling, high-pressure commission where I decided everything on the spot—the content, artistic style, paper, dimensions, and specifications—while consulting with the owner and staff right there in the moment.
They serve exquisite handmade tempura and karaage (Japanese fried chicken).
It is a hugely popular Japanese dining spot where you can also enjoy
original handmade desserts—like mochi ice cream and cheesecake—to finish off your meal. ✨

During the day,
cheers charged with the heat
rising from Dodger Stadium.
Amidst the bustling crowds,
upbeat Black music drifts from passing taxis.
And from the L.A. night sky—
finally grown quiet—
[Moonlight's droplets].
日中は
ドジャーススタジアムから
湧き出る熱気を帯びた歓声
行き交う喧騒のなか
タクシーから陽気なblackmusic
ようやく静まったロスの夜空から
